Our Rock Cimbing Tour in Rio will take you to a few of the most popular climbing spots in Brazil, the Morro da Urca ( Urca Hill) and Pao de Acucar ( Sugar Loaf) mountain. Both mountains are right in the city and easily accessible by car.
Morro da Urca
The Morro da Urca is the first stop before reaching the Sugar Loaf mountain by cable car. It stands 220 meters (660 feet) of altitude, offering many different levels of routes, ranging from level 5.4 to level 5.8 (U.S.A). First timers are welcome.
Pão de Açucar
The Pão de Açúcar ( Sugar Loaf) mountain stands 396 meters (1200 feet) of altitude and is one of Rio`s most famous post cards. There are many options of routes there, ranging from level 5.4 to level 5.10a (U.S.A).Routes at Sugar Loaf are recommended to climbers with some experience.
