The Tijuca Forest and Santa Teresa Tour , combines 2 of most popular places in Rio, in just one single trip . It starts with a visit to Santa Teresa neighborhood and ending with a visit to Tijuca Forest National Park.
Santa Teresa is one of the highlights of Rio de Janeiro. The bohemian neighborhood on the hill has impressive views of the city and is quite different from other areas of the city.Named after a monastery the neighborhood attracted rich families in the early 19th century. By the late 19th century it became “the home of the bohemians and artists”.
Tijuca Forest is known for being the largest urban florest in the world, with over 3000 species of plants, 2 species of monkeys and many species of birds, mammals and reptiles.
TIJUCA FOREST + SANTA TERESA – PROGRAM
In Santa Teresa, we visit the Selaron stairs, Largo do Curvelo, Largo dos Guimaràes and Largo das Neves. After the visit we head out to Tijuca Forest National Park, where we visit the Chinese View, Taunay Waterfalls, and the visitor”s center. A short walk in the jungle is also included, so people can have a closer look to the fauna and flora.

Wear sunblock , a cap or a hat for sunny days. Also wear light clothes and comfortable shoes. Don`t forget the camera.
Pick up and drop off at customer´s hotel or any other address in Rio, within the covered area, and guiding service.

Remainder is always paid in cash to the guide, at the start of the tour. For full payment requests , we use Paypal with a 7% surcharge.
