Our Full Day Tour in Rio offers a great oportunity for those who do not have a lot of free time in Rio, and want to see as much as possible in one day. The places visited are: Pepino beach, Tijuca forest national park, corcovado mountain, Christ the Redeemer, Selaron Steps in Santa Teresa and a quick stop for lunch ( not included in the price). At the end of the tour, customers who wish to be dropped off at Sugar Loaf cable car station , just tell the tour guide. The others will be dropped at their original locations.
The tour starts with pick up at hotels ,hostels or airbnbs in Rio city. Our van will take you to Pepino beach in São Conrado, where the hang gliders land .
Tour heads up to Tijuca National Park, the largest urban forest in the world. Inside the forest you will visit the Taunay Falls, Chinese View, and if you are lucky, you get to see animals, such as capuchin monkeys, raccoons, toucans and much more.
After visiting the forest, we will stop for lunch (lunch is not included in the price of the package) in Ipanema, and soon after that, we go to Christ The Redeemer Statue on Corcovado mountain (ticket price is included to the price of the package).
After visiting the statue, we go down the hills towards Santa Teresa. It is one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Rio city, with houses from the 19th century and early 20th century all over the place. Home of the bohemians and artists, it is of of Rio`s post cards.
As tour heads down the hill towards the city, we stop at Escadaria Selaron or Selaron Steps, a beautiful and colorful stepway built by a Chilean artits who lives right by it.
After the visit to selaron steps ends, you will be offered two options: to be dropped off at Sugarloaf Cable Car Station (ticket is not included in the package price) in time for sunset , or to be dropped off at your hotel or hostel.
