Visiting Rio and not taking the Beach Tour in Rio de Janeiro to see the beaches of the west coast is almost a sin ! These breathtaking Beaches are a must-see thing and some are located in environmental protection areas and have controlled access. Tour passes by all the beaches, with stops at Prainha Municipal Natural Park (stop for 20 minutes), Nudist Beach – Abricó (do not worry, you do not need to visit that one and can stay in the next beach), Praia de Grumari (stop for 50 minutes) and panoramic views of the Barra da Tijuca seafront, Joá viewpoint and Recreio dos Bandeirantes.

Our Tijuca Forest Tour in Rio de Janeiro starts with hotel or airbnb pick ups at 08:00 am

We start going up the park through Horto around 8:30/09:00 am, which is a nice little neighborhood right behind the Botanical Gardens.

We stop at Vista Chinesa (Chinese View) for about 20 minutes, to contemplate the views of the Christ Statue as well as the Lagoa Area, Ipanema and Leblon.

We continue the tour towards sector A of the park, the main sector of the park, passing by Mesa do Imperador ( Emperor`s Table) and Vista do Almirante.

Once we arrive at sector A, we stop for a visit to Taunay Falls and the Visitor`s Center.

A short walk in the jungle may be provided, if the group requests, so people can get a feeling of the forest.

We are back at hotel around 12:00 noon. End of our operations.
