Our Rock Climbing Tour in Rio de Janeiro will take you to the Morro da Urca (Urca mountain), Morro da Babilônia (Babilônia Mountain) or Morro do Pão de Açúcar ( Sugar Loaf mountain). These mountains are the most popular ones for climbing in Rio, located right in the middle of the city and easily accessible byuber or taxi. We offer many climbing routes for climbers at all levels. Our instructors have many years of experience and our keyword for success is safety.
Morro da Babilônia
The Morro da Babilônia stands at 180 meters of altitude, right behind the Sugar Loaf cable car station, and offer easy routes to indoor climbers with little experience.
Morro da Urca
The Morro da Urca is the first stop before reaching Sugar Loaf Mountain by cable car. It stands at 220 meters (660 feet) of altitude, offering many different levels of routes, ranging from level 5.4 to level 5.8 (U.S.A). First-timers are welcome.
Pão de Açúcar
The Pão de Açúcar ( Sugar Loaf) mountain stands 396 meters (1200 feet) of altitude and is one of Rio`s most famous postcards. There are many options of routes there, ranging from level 5.4 to level 5.10a (U.S.A). Routes at Sugar Loaf are recommended to climbers with some years of experience.

If not hired, we meet our customers in front of Santander bank, in Urca, at 07:30 am. Address details on the voucher
Once there, the guide will decide which route to take , based on the experience of our customers. The chosen route can either be at Babilonia mountain, Urca mountain or Sugar Loaf mountain.
The climbing experience usually takes up to 02 hours.
Customers will be back at their hotels around 11:00am.
The Climb usually starts around 08:00am and ends between 09:30am and 10:00am.
Guide will arrive in Urca neighborhood around 7:30am, where he will decide which route to take , based on the group experience. They can either be at Babilonia mountain, Urca mountain or Sugar Loaf mountain.

Wear comfortable clothes, sunblock, sunglasses and a cap for sunny days. Take plenty of water with you.
People afraid of heights should not book this experience. Uber or taxi is the best way to get to our meeting point there in Urca.

Remember that you don’t need to check availability with us before you book the tour. Our calendar will display our availability for this tour. Usually our cut-off time ranges from 12 HS to 48 HS ,depending on the tour. In case you wish to book this tour for tomorrow and can’t see the availability on the calendar, please contact us using the whatsapp button and we will be happy to help. Remember that during the check out process, you will be directed to PayPal for the payment. It you don’t have a PayPal account, you can easily open a free account in a few minutes. All you need is to use your email, create a password and add a credit card to your new account. If you don’t want to open an account, you will not be able to pay with a credit card, and will only be able to pay via local bank transfer( PIX).

R$ 449,00 per person- solo climber (with a deposit of R$ 149,00 here in our website and R$ 300,00 in cash to our instructor)
R$ 399,00 per person – Groups from 02 to 04 climbers (with a deposit of R$ 149,00 here on our website and R$ 250,00 in cash to our instructor)

* If you are an experienced climber booking this tour, please note that the more challenging routes at Sugar Loaf like Segundo and Italianos will have an extra cost of R$ 150,00, which will have to be paid in cash to the instructor at the start of the experience, in case a decision is made to go to one of those routes.
