Fishing over Rio de Janeiro`s coast can be an unforgettable experience. We have a very rich sea life and a beautiful coastline. If you want to fish like a local, here is the place! Fishing in Rio is not as fancy as it can be in other international spots. We do not use the latest technology or highly equipped boats. We have a rustic way of fishing and use a 22 feet aluminum boat and a lot of instinct to find fish.
We take small groups of up to 04 people, to provide a more efficient service. We take you to the most popular fishing sites within the Guanabara Bay area, or near the Cagarras islands. It is a full-day trip of 8 unforgettable hours, made especially for fishing enthusiasts. Do not miss this adventure!
Types of Fishes that can be found in Rio´s Coast and Islands:
Anchovy, Mullet, Marimba, Xylema, Xerelete, Xareu, Grouper, Sea bass, Whiting, croaker, Pampo, Dorado, Sole, Dog’s Eye, and many others. Of course, some of those you can find at certain times of the year only. Sizes of fish on the coast and islands are usually smaller than the ones caught in deep sea fishing. Average sizes range from 20cm to 50 cm around the coast.

Wear comfortable clothes, wear a cap, and sunscreen on sunny days. We do not provide meals or drinks on this tour. Ice is provided for cooling drinks. You may bring your own drinks and food. We suggest that clients bring snacks, sandwiches and fruits.
We do not include food or drinks in this tour. Clients can bring their own. We offer ice for the drinks and to preserve the caught fishes.
We do not guarantee that clients will catch any fish at all. We will take them to possible fishing spots that are working that day.

Remember that you don’t need to check availability with us before you book the tour. Our calendar will display our availability for this tour. Usually our cut-off time ranges from 12 HS to 48 HS ,depending on the tour. In case you wish to book this tour for tomorrow and can’t see the availability on the calendar, please contact us using the whatsapp button and we will be happy to help. Remember that during the check out process, you will be directed to PayPal for the payment. It you don’t have a PayPal account, you can easily open a free account in a few minutes. All you need is to use your email, create a password and add a credit card to your new account. If you don’t want to open an account, you will not be able to pay with a credit card, and will only be able to pay via local bank transfer( PIX).
Clients are responsible for the fishing poles and for the fake bates. In case any pole breaks while being used by client, he or she must agree to pay the amount of R$ 500,00 and R$ 50,00 for any missing fake bate. By purchasing this tour, the client automatically agrees with our terms.
We only cancel this tour in case of rough Sea conditions or storms. In case of light rain the tour still goes on and clients will not be eligible for refunds
