Lock In Your Flight Today: You only pay a small deposit now to secure your date. The remaining balance is easily settled on the beach on the day of your flight with no surprise charges.
Pro-Tip to Save 10%: Bring cash for your final balance! Credit cards processed down on the beach carry a mandatory 10% local fee.
Urgency Note: Because Pedra Bonita is Rio’s only tandem launch ramp, daily flight slots are strictly limited by wind conditions and daylight. We highly recommend booking in advance to beat the crowds.

Schedules
Please note that the time listed on your voucher is the meeting time rather than a specific flight time. The exact time of the takeoff is uncertain as it is based on wind conditions, ramp congestion, and the pace of takeoffs.
We have schedules daily, from 08:00 am to 01:00 pm. Just choose one when booking this experience. Customers will have to meet us outside the Hang Gliding club. Address on the voucher.

Weight limit
There is a passenger weight limit of 80 kilos (175 lbs). This limit may be lowered to 70 kilos ( 155 lbs) according to wind conditions.
Dress Code
To hang gliding in Rio, wear comfortable clothes and shoes. No jeans pants as it is too stiff on the legs. Do not wear sandals or flip-flops. Avoid wearing glasses during the flight ( wind may make it fall).
Booking Tips
When you book a flight, please note that you will be paying ONLY a deposit per person. The remainder will be paid in cash to our flight coordinator. If the client decides to pay with a credit card, a 10% surcharge is applied to the transaction.
Please disregard the message on the voucher that says the activity has been paid in full. It is a limitation of the booking engine that does not recognize the payment as a DEPOSIT. Clients who claim that they did not see this detail before they made the payment will not be eligible for a refund, in case they request it based on this matter.
Avoid booking flights during carnival season and New Year’s, especially from the 30th of December to January 2nd. The ramp over Pedra Bonita is the ONLY ramp available for tandem flights in Rio, and the number of flights can triple during this time, which can make the waiting frustrating and exhausting for both the customer and the pilot. Yet, if you cannot avoid those periods, be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any extra time spent there, or any possible delays on your schedule.
Prefer earlier schedules as there are fewer people over the ramp.
About the files with videos:
Files will be transferred to the client`s smartphone. Please check if all files are in it before you leave the beach. In case you do not bring your phone, we will send the video via Dropbox. In case there is any issue with the files, customers have 7 days to report it and request new files or a refund of R$ 100,00, in case the files have been erased from our system.
About the Video Prices:
Videos are purchased there, and decision has to be made before the flight so the pilot knows which cameras to turn on. Prices range from R$ 200,00 ( front and side videos) to R$ 300,00 ( 360 videos)

Check out is quick and easy, and you can use major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google pay and etc. Remember that you don’t need to check availability with us before you book the tour. Our calendar will display our availability for this tour. Our cut-off time is 2 HS before schedule .
Cancellations, Rescheduling, & Refund Policy
1. Weather & Cloudy Days
We don’t cancel flights just because it’s cloudy! We only cancel if the cloud ceiling is too low, it’s raining, or the hang gliding club closes the ramp. If you decide to cancel on a safe, flyable cloudy day, we cannot issue a refund. Want to change your date because you’re worried about the forecast (or for any other reason)? You must request the change at least one week before your scheduled flight.
2. Sudden Wind Changes
Mother Nature is unpredictable! If you’re already at the ramp and the wind suddenly shifts, we ask you to hang tight for at least 1 hour. If conditions don’t clear up after an hour, you can cancel and get a full refund.
3. Running Late & No-Shows
We offer a 20-minute grace period if you’re running late. After that, we’ll do our best to squeeze you into the next available slot (either later that day or another day). If we can’t fit you in, or if you simply don’t show up or cancel at the last minute, your deposit is non-refundable. (This deposit goes directly to compensate your pilot for their time!)
4. Weather Reschedules
If your flight gets bumped due to bad weather, the same attendance and lateness rules from Section 3 apply to your new date.
5. Weight Limits (Hang Gliding)
Safety first! The standard weight limit for hang gliding is 80 kg (about 176 lbs). On high-wind days, we sometimes have to drop that limit to 70 kg (about 154 lbs). If that happens and you’re over the limit, we’ll set you up with a paragliding pilot instead. Not down to paraglide? No sweat—we can reschedule your flight or issue a full refund.
6. Weigh-Ins
Our pilots may ask you to hop on a scale to verify your weight. If you’re over 80 kg (176 lbs), we’ll do our best to pair you with a paragliding pilot (max weight 110 kg / 242 lbs). However, if you refuse the weigh-in, decline the paragliding option, or if paragliding isn’t available/safe that day, we won’t be able to issue a refund.
7. Ramp Cancellations
If sudden condition changes at the ramp force us to cancel your flight entirely, we’ll give you a full refund of your deposit if you can’t reschedule.
8. Cameras
Leave your personal cameras tucked away during the flight. High-quality videos can be provided. Ask the pilot about this extra service.
9. Dress Code
Sneakers or running shoes only (no sandals!). Wear stretchy athletic pants or shorts. No jeans allowed.
10. Getting Cold Feet
If you get to the ramp and decide you don’t want to fly for any reason, we totally get it—but we won’t be able to issue a refund.
11. Travel Light
Please don’t bring large bags or backpacks to the meeting point. The flight club has no lockers.
12. ID Requirements
You don’t need to bring your physical passport to sign the waiver at the club. A clear digital photo on your phone of your Passport, ID, or Driver’s License is totally fine.
13. Age Requirements
You must be 18 or older to fly solo. Minors aged 14 to 17 are welcome to fly, but a parent or legal guardian must be present.
