The museum of Tomorrow is a science museum, created to explore and to imagine all the possibilities for building the future. It is an experimental museum, that combines science and art, with the use of technology.
The Rio de Janeiro Marine Aquarium – AquaRio – is a five floors building with 28 tanks holding 4,5 millions liters of saltwater. Over 3000 animals of 350 different species can be seen and found inside the tanks. The largest tank is the Recinto Oceânico (Oceanic Enclosure), with 3,5 million liters of water and 7 meters of depth. It can be crossed through a very cool undersea tunnel, while sharks and rays can be seens from a very close distance along the way. Other species like doctor fish, grouper, whiting, catshark, scorpion fish, bamboo shark, moray eels can also be seen there. Do not miss this tour !
