Parachuting in Rio de Janeiro, takes place in the Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, about 30/40 minutes from Copacabana. Clients will meet our staff at our hangar inside Jacarepagua airport.. Right before taking off, the instructor will go through some safety procedures with the passengers, so it is important to pay attention to his advice regarding position and behavior during the free fall and before landing.
After the jump, just relax and enjoy the free fall the best you can, because it will be the longest 30/40 seconds of your life! The free fall starts from an altitude of about 3500/4000 meters (from 9,000 to 10,000 ft) and the view around is breathtaking. The maximum speed achieved can reach up to 200 kilometers (125 miles) per hour. No previous experience is required.

After wearing the gear and getting the the safety tips, customers will be direted to the airplane.
After a few minutes flying, customer and instructor will get ready for jumping.
After the jump, just relax and enjoy the thrill for about 40 seconds, before the instructor opens the parachute.
After a 5 minutes glide, a safe land on Barra beach.

Once inside the airport, driver must make the first left on D street then last right on D2 street.

This activity requires patience from the customer as we have an that takes 2 tandem flights at a time ( 04 passengers + 1 pilot)
Sometimes delays happen according to how busy the airport is.

Jumps happen also in cloudy days as long as clouds are high enough.
