Parachuting in Rio de Janeiro, takes place in the Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, about 30/40 minutes from Copacabana. Clients will meet our staff outside the Heliport. Please note that we jump from helicopters and not from airplanes. Right before taking off, the instructor will go through some safety procedures with the passengers, so it is important to pay attention to his advice regarding position and behavior during the free fall and before landing. After the jump, just relax and enjoy the free fall the best you can, because it will be the longest 30/40 seconds of your life! The free fall starts from an altitude of about 3500/4000 meters (from 9,000 to 10,000 ft) and the view around is breathtaking. The maximum speed achieved can reach up to 200 kilometers (125 miles) per hour. No previous experience is required.
Customers will meet our staff outside the passenger`s terminal at Jacarepagua airport ( details on the voucher)
After wearing the gear and getting the the safety tips, customers will be direted to the airplane.
After a few minutes flying, customer and instructor will get ready for jumping.
After the jump, just relax and enjoy the thrill for about 40 seconds, before the instructor opens the parachute.
After a 5 minutes glide, a safe land on Barra beach.

This activity requires patience from the customer as we have a helicopter so we take one passenger at a time to jump.
Sometimes delays happen as Rio is the only metropolis in Brazil where Tandem Parachuting takes place.

Usually our cut-off time ranges from 12 HS to 48 HS ,depending on the tour. Remember that during the check out process, you will be directed to PayPal for the payment. It you don’t have a PayPal account, you can easily open a free account in a few minutes. All you need is to use your email, create a password and add a credit card to your new account. If you don’t want to open an account, you will not be able to pay with a credit card, and will only be able to pay via local bank transfer( PIX).
