The main difference between a boat and a yacht is their size. A yacht is usually bigger than a boat and in general, it has to be over 40 feet in length, to be considered a yacht. Boats can also vary in size, starting from small dinghies to larger motorboats but are usually smaller than yachts.

   Yachts are perfect for larger groups who wish to go for a cruise, for parties and pleasure. They are designed with a more aesthetic design to enhance passengers' experiences. When it comes to space and luxury facilities, yachts also have a big advantage over boats,with spacious cabins, full kitchens, multiple bathrooms, hot showers, TVs, and Audio systems.

In Rio, we provide a 50 feet yacht with the following features:

Capacity: 20 passengers + 2 crew

Engine: 485HP diesel inboard 

Infrastructure: Radio and Bluetooth connection, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 suite), living room, full kitchen, bow and fly solarium.

Boarding location: Marina da Glória (Pier Nobre)

Meeting point: In front of Kitchen Restaurant

Hours: Daily (08:30 to 13:30 and 14:30 to 19:30)

* If the remainder is paid via PayPal on the departure date, there will be a 6% surcharge added to it. Any of the optional services described below, that may be included by clients, will be added to the remainder.

                                                                 Terms and Conditions:

- The tour happens rain or shine and will continue even in case of unstable weather forecast, as long as the navigation is safe.

- Changing the date of the tour only occurs in case of notice of navigation impediment by the Coast Guard.

- Sometimes on weekdays, we can change the date as long as we have slots available.

- In the event of a sudden weather change like an undertow or strong wind in the open sea, the itinerary is automatically changed to Guanabara Bay where the waters are calm.

- There is no partial refund if the client decides not to use the total duration of the tour.

- Cancellation for personal reasons does not entitle the client to receive a refund.

- There is no compensation for the tour time in case of any delay caused by the client during departure.

- Prices are not valid for New Year's Eve and Carnival season.

- We have no age restriction, however, anyone regardless of weight, size, or age counts as a passenger.

- In the case of hiring a professional (DJ, bartender, etc.), he or she will count as a passenger.

- We only do private tours and do not sublet to agencies whose objective is to promote a party/event with ticket sales.

- The customer will send a list of passengers with the name and ID or passport of all guests via WhatsApp, after booking it.

- We do not dock with other boats (against board), even if the client reserves two or more boats with us or with another company.

- Payments can be made through our website rioadventures.com via Paypal or via PIX

- We are not responsible for personal objects or food and drinks that may be lost or forgotten on the boat.

- We allow only small pets and they will be restricted to the external area of the boat (except guide dogs).

- Tan lotion, red wine, fireworks, glitter, confetti launchers, and flares, are prohibited in the boat.

- On Weekdays we offer flexible hours. On weekends and holidays, the boat's schedule is divided into 2, mornings and afternoons. If there is no other client, for that same day, we will inform the clients the day before so they can decide if they want to add extra hours or not.

- Our prices are valid for up to 5 hours of duration and not 5 hours of navigation. But, if the client prefers, he can return earlier. However, the price will remain the same, as the operating cost does not change to do the same route in less time. No partial refunds will be issued in this case.

- The barbecue grill can be rented for R$ 300,00. The skipper will prepare the barbecue during the stops. This fee already includes a cutting board, knife, and lighter. The clients only need to bring or buy at the Marina's convenience store whatever they are going to consume (food and drink) and materials to use (charcoal, napkins, etc.).

- We can also provide a bartender for R$700,00. The clients need to bring the drinks and inputs (sugar, fruit, etc.).

- The boat has surround sound with a Bluetooth connection to play the cell phone playlist. If a DJ is hired by the client, he must bring his own sound system and cannot use the boat's speakers. Our own Dj with sound system costs R$ 1500,00.

- If clients decide to hire extra hours, we will anticipate the departure time and in the afternoon we postpone the arrival time.

- After booking this service, clients will not be able to cancel it, and still expect a refund, even in case of illness. However, if clients decide to change the date of the trip, they must request it via WhatsApp or e-mail, no later than 30 days prior to the tour date. In case we are able to grant the change of date, there will be only one opportunity to do it.

- The pictures of the yacht displayed are for reference only. We have a fleet of yachts that belong to the same category so we reserve the right to use whatever yacht is available as long as they have the same sizes and features.
